About Me
Hello, I’m Jimmy.
I am someone who always finds himself staring outside the office windows, wondering what’s the world like beyond the horizon, beyond the humdrum of a 9-5 work routine. My Google Maps is basically a porcupine at this point, filled with countless pins of places I am interested in visiting.
I love watching the prismatic hues of a sunset streaking across the sky, with each color being a masterful brush stroke of a skilled painter.
I love trekking through the tranquil verdant woodlands, where the ambient sounds of fauna fills me with serenity.
I love standing on the edge of cliffs and watching the raging waves crash, leaving behind a foamy layer as they recede back into the relentless sea.
I love a cold iced latte in the comfort of warm sheets with a suspenseful crime novel in hand.
I love the outdoors, I love quiet days and I love the thrill of discovery.
Curiosity about life is what inspires me and I find gratification in learning and figuring out new things. I’d also say that I express myself best through writing.
About This Blog
I started this travel blog with the intention of reminiscing the activities I’ve done, people I’ve met, the memories I’ve made and the picturesque world I’ve seen. Life takes a toll on us sometimes and I look upon this as a recollection of the fun times I’ve had and will be having!
There are no stock images used in any of my posts. I believe in showcasing the authenticity of my experience by using photographs I have personally taken.
I wouldn’t call any of my entries a travel guide per se, but rather a narrative of what I went through in retrospect. I may leave some advice here and there if I can understand the notes I’ve had hastily jotted down or if memory serves.
If you enjoy reading about someone else’s travel experience through a collection of anecdotes then this blog might be for you!
Perhaps, you can get a glimpse of visiting those destinations through my posts.
And maybe you will be inspired to have your own adventures too; or maybe you found your way here when finding content to some of the places you are intending to visit; or maybe you’ve simply come to laugh at the silly mistakes I did when visiting your home country.
Regardless of the reason, I sincerely appreciate your time here.
Thank you for taking a trip down memory lane with me.
